Ready to hang. Pen on Vellum, black wooden frame, plexiglass. # 1 of the 36 Pieces of the Mindcube is the first piece in the Mindcube Collection. It is a journal in symbols, an abstract representation of the neurocognitive processes inside my head. As the outward world and the digital metaverse grow closer, we can pass between these two "realities" with ever greater ease. The Mindcube collection reflects this. Each piece begins on paper drawn in gel pen, is digitized and edited, then returned to the physical world in gel pen once more. The culmination of this work will be a physical sculpture of the Mindcube. Each completed pen drawing will be available as a hand-drawn treasure to ground work in the metaverse into the physical world.
