Here I've chosen to depict the elf Frieren - from the manga of the same name. Set in a particular décor, the scene reproduces the codes of the Renaissance: the drapery, the books, the arrangement of the elements, the pose of the model, her embroidered outfit, the way she wears her hands and fingers and the use of ‘sfumato’. Making a timeless canvas, working with the colours of gold and liquid, playing with the textures of the materials, creating with the “cosplayer” (creator of her costume), these are the impulses behind this canvas.
