This is my expression of our time producing raku pieces using reduced copper oxide and copper carbonate. It seemed that the fire used to 'paint' the pots with these beautiful colours. I have reproduced them here. The gold leaf has lent a capriciousness to the general effect. The background represents the black of reduced iron-bearing clay and adorning our ceramics workshop.
