Hello, I'm Alex Jesko.

While spending time in prominent cities throughout the country​,​ Alex found himself irresistibly drawn back to Ohio​,​ near to his hometown in the Northeastern region​,​ residing in Vienna. Current curator and facilities engineer at the Medici Museum of Art​,​ after completing his graduate program​,​ he immersed himself in museum studies​,​ leveraging his trained perspective to enhance his vision for contemporary installations and engaging​,​ thought-provoking designs. In 2019​,​ he graduated from The University of Iowa​,​ where he was awarded a teaching assistantship and full tuition scholarship. While earning his MFA in painting​,​ he also taught drawing and pursued double minors in art history and sculpture. Prior to this​,​ he received his BFA in painting from Kent State University​,​ studying under established artist Gianna Commito. After graduating from Canfield High School in 2010​,​ his fascination with sound perception influenced his journey into geometric abstraction. His passion for creating portraiture and composing music emerged following his involvement in various athletic programs. From a young age​,​ he has always exhibited a competitive spirit and a drive to develop his skills.
