Hello, I'm Izabela Sajdok.

My roots are Polish and Czech​,​ I grew up surrounded by mountains​,​ rivers​,​ castles and long history of the lands resting in the heart of Europe. Then life brought me to the foreign and wild Australia​,​ where a fascination for the ocean touched my soul and heart. Scuba diving​,​ freediving​,​ swimming – just any time spent the water brings me closer to nature and fills me with genuine joy and happiness. The Ocean became un unlimited source of inspiration and subject for further learning​,​ understanding and respect.. I love to use oil paint when creating the visual stories. This medium allows me to build layers of colour​,​ layers of energy. Every brushstroke​,​ hue creates a mark that as a whole becomes perfect in it's imperfection. My process is very expressive and I feel that each artwork demands something different - it evokes emotions​,​ situations and awakes "things" inside to come up to the surface. I also enjoy working with charcoal​,​ graphite and ink. Exploration of different mediums led me to the latest endeavour in performing my art in a form of tattoo. Art is a bridge​,​ it is a tory that I can translate. A connection that we have to love​,​ nature and beauty in all its forms encompassing us on our journey. I believe that we are in undeniable need to be surrounded by beauty​,​ we all need it - but we are not all necessarily aware of this fact. My belief is that as humans we are growing every day​,​ and art is a medium that reflects these changes and touches our souls.
