I started this colorful ink and acrylic abstract last year and finished it in February of 2024. As usual, it started out pretty intuitive, but as it evolved, abstract rivers seen from above emerged (for me, maybe not for you) so I went with that, always trying to keep a nice balance. I used my favoured wet on wet method for the most part, though often in a controlled way, and added acrylic for texture. I do love my wonderful white Sennelier ink! It really helped to make the river flows luminous and I love the way it blends with the base colour as well. I used many of my favourite colours and really set them off against each other. It was a joy to create this over time, though there were a few tense moments once in awhile when I thought I had ruined it! I have signed it since taking these photos.
