SKATERS ON BEAVER LAKE
A typical Winter afternoon in Montreal. Families go skating on the frozen ice of Beaver Lake, atop Mt Royal, a popular recreational destination in every season. Surrounded by a forest of trees empty of leaves, the wind rustles through the branches, creating a whooshing reverberation, as families take over for the ducks of summer, skimming over the surface on blades. Wintertime clothing creates multicoloured patterns whizzing back and forth on the ice . . .
